Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill, located in the heart of the city, is one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in Seattle and has evolved into one of the most popular nightlife scenes as well. To the east there are grand classic homes from the early 20th century and the west side is filling with newer hi-rise condominium buildings. Capitol Hill's Volunteer Park hosts the Seattle Asian Art Museum, the Conservatory, a wading pool and playground, and incredible views from the windows of the historic Water Tower. Adjacent to the freeway and within walking distance or a quick bus ride to Downtown Seattle, South Lake Union, Seattle University, and the University of Washington, Capitol Hill is convenient to the best of Seattle's entertainment, education and employment. |
